The author(s) retains the copyright to the article. By submitting an article, the author agrees that the publisher of Human Technology (the Open Science Centre, University of Jyväskylä) has the right to edit, publish, distribute, display, copy and format the article for publication and archiving purposes, provided that the meaning of the text is not materially altered or is edited in collaboration with the author. The Open Science Centre, University of Jyväskylä, holds the copyright of the journal and has the right to alter the journal and the Internet site of the journal at any time.

The author submitting the paper is responsible for the content, originality, and integrity of the article. Authors are expected to abide by international research ethics, as outlined in the ethical standards area of this website.

The author also acknowledges that, after publication, the readers of Human Technology have the right to copy, distribute, and display the work freely as long as the original author(s) is given credit. See also Terms and Conditions of Use.
