Submitting Manuscripts

Human Technology accepts manuscripts meeting the aim and the scope of the journal (see the Mission Statement) on an ongoing basis, in addition to manuscripts submitted for thematic issues.

Manuscripts should be submitted to the journal’s managements system.

Manuscripts (written in good English and in line with the style provided in the Publication Manual of the American Psychological Association, 6th edition [APA style] and summarized in Manuscript Preparation Details) should be submitted in either the Word (.doc or .docx) or rich text format (.rtf) format. In submitting a manuscript (a minimum of 7,000 words, 8,000-10,000 preferred, over 10,000 possible) for publication consideration in Human Technology, authors agree to having their papers evaluated by an online antiplagiarism program before being assessed by the editor in chief regarding the suitability of the paper’s topic for the scope of our journal and its readiness for peer review. (For papers submitted to special issues, papers’ topics must also be in line with the scope of the issues’ theme and the above areas are assessed by the guest editors.) Manuscripts taken into publication consideration will be subject to a double-blind peer review process; papers accepted for publication are subjected to copy editing.

In addition, the editors of Human Technology expect that authors of submissions have abided by internationally accepted ethical standards in regard to research practices and manuscript preparation. More information can be found in the Ethical Standards area of this website.
